Frame for Adam Miller’s Quebec - 2016/2017

The monumental 8’ x 10’ canvas was framed in a 10” wide oxidized solid walnut molding around a hollow baltic birch ply core with welded steel structural supports. The frame was designed to be modular, lightweight, and able to be disassembled and crated for frequent exhibitions.

Frame is a Rossetti style painting frame. Milled quarter-sawn white oak with integrated mullions, 22k oil-gilded surface, shellac and casein patina. Baltic birch finished back. Molding width: 5-5/8 in. Overall dimensions: 35 x 64-1/2 x 2-1/4 in.
